IDEC/SmaSo holds an Open Day every November, in which many IEDP students also take part. For Open Day, students from many countries and regions dress in their traditional costumes and set up stalls to serve their local cuisine to each other and to local people. Many of these groups also showcase dance moves from back home, including traditional folk dances to modern hits.
This year, we were hit by torrential rains during the morning, leading to delays. However, the weather cleared up by the afternoon and we were able to hold the festival.
