At IEDP\/SmaSo-SIS, we conduct our own graduation ceremony after the official Hiroshima University commencement, where we award students for excellent presentations and papers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduation is always an emotional moment, as our students finally see the fruition of the effort they put into their study and research. It is also the last time many of them will see each other, as most are JDS scholars and must return to their countries of origin to serve as government officers. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most of our exchange students begin and graduate in fall.
